Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa doesn’t feel like a hotel at all, but more like a home. Very beautiful building, spacious rooms, nice location on an empty beach. You cannot swim right in front of the hotel because of rocks, which gives the villa this private atmosphere, but there is a wonderful beach with turtles just 10 min walk through a nice coconut tree hill 🌴 Oh, and most most caring, friendly stuff! Absolutely recommend and hope to come back soon!

Beautiful ocean front villa. The ocean is too rough and not swimmable, but there are several other beaches nearby, including Mirissa beach. My room was very comfortable and the food was pretty good. Also, very friendly and professional staff.

It’s a new house, we were the first guests with my friend. As it’s a new house everything looks good. It has 3 rooms with big beds, the toilet and the shower were great. Kitchen with everything that you need for a few days. It has a washing machine and a tender, and the owner gave us some washing power. Common areas are good and it has a little garden that was really nice. The owners were really friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place.
