It is a great place to stay in Koh Samui if you like If you need privacy and peace. The Maenam area is not as noisy as Chaweng or Lamai, but at the same time, you can always find good restaurants or shops nearby. A 10-minute walk from the villa to the beach. The house is located a few meters from the main road, where there are several 7/11 shops and different restaurants. The villa is fully consistent with the photos. Good design, comfortable mattresses, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and even more. The pool was cleaned every 3 days, the house was completely cleaned once a week. The area near the house is treated for insects every 2 weeks, so there were practically no mosquitoes. The hostess was very responsive, quickly answered messages, and helped with any requests. She organized a transfer from and to the airport. We rested as a family of 4 adults and 2 children. Everyone had enough space and liked everything. I highly recommend it for selection. (be sure to try the waffles at the nearby cafe. They are fantastic :) )

It's a rare chance to be able to stay in a historic colonial mansion. We had a fantastic time. Yes, the house is older, but it's very well maintained, making the age of the house an exciting experience and not a negative thing. And when there is a need for maintenance, the hosts are on top of it. Full kitchen, three bathrooms, washing machine, A/C in all rooms, swimming pool, huge smart tv and even a pool table. The vintage furniture only added to the positive experience. Nhing is awesome, hardworking and skilled in just about anything that needs to be done. And after she does housekeeping it's like walking into a new jouse again. Oh, yes, there's weekly housekeeping, new towels, bedding, cleaning - amazing. We absolutely loved our three weeks at Baan Khun Nang.

It was a perfect stay, maybe the best we had in Thailand (though we've been there maybe 10 times). It was so nice to be able to just go out from the bungalow in a swimming trunks and jump into the ocean without caring about anything - no need to think what to take to the beach, which place to choose, where is a toilet, where to wash feet on the way back, no need for the long walk to the beach and back under the hot sun (if you live in the hotel which is not very close) and so on... It was just super relaxing stay, it's hard to underestimate the convenience of living in 10 meters from the ocean. I wasn't sure if 24/7-sound of sea waves would be OK for us but I must admit it had rather a calming and healing effect. The apartment itself had everything needed: each room had an air-con which we used almost non-stop, the living room had a big ceiling fan (in addition to the air-con) and my family liked to gather under the fan with some cocktails during the hottest hours of the day to surf the Internet or just talk. Two bedrooms were located in opposite sides of the apartment across the living room so the apartment can work even for two different families or pairs of people because you cannot hear what's happening in another bedroom. Two bathrooms, two toilets, kitchen with all needed devices (microwave, kettle, fridge, dishes), good Wifi, TV, .. like everything you need. There is a terrace with a wooden table and chairs outside. The person who met us and passed the keys asked us how many sunbeds we needed and the next day we got as many as we asked. Another small observation - the location of the group of villas was a bit unique, because that part of the beach was kind of cut off from the main beach by two rivers on the both sides, and we considered it as rather an advantage than disadvantage, because there were less people on the beach in comparison to our past experience.

Loved the veranda and pool, the whole place was really relaxing The birds and nature good to watch. Shops really close and good restaurants. Very comfortable beds.

Great location. There is a cut through path right by the property that leads onto the walking street. So close to shops and the beach. Has everything you need. Very well equipped. Property has a washing machine (and washing powder) that helps after a day in the beach..
