Cottages in Grantham

The location was 15 minutes from my job. Surrounded by trees which made it more private and cooler at night.

Very quaint Inn with lots of nice touches. Full kitchen was great. Check in was easy with door code and keys on wall. Location great for skiing at Sunapee. Decorations were tasteful and beautifully coordinated. Main sitting area was comfortable with a gas fireplace. I stayed in the Moss Creek room and it was excellent. Everything was brand new. Bed was comfortable. Shower was perfect. Everything was very clean. Heat kept the room cozy and regulated well. (Has individual room control) It is a self-service inn with no front desk but that is common these days and works out just fine. I had a couple of questions and Kayla the owner called me back right away, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable and happy. Would highly recommend and would return!

To say that Spooner House is exceptional from top to bottom still feels like an understatement. There is care and quality in every detail, from the sheets and towels to the thoughtful and comfortable furnishings, delicious light breakfast options provided, and stellar local recommendations. Our room was extremely quiet and spacious, it was a pleasure to spend time there. We ended up staying additional nights due to car troubles, and the hosts truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed while remaining extremely respectful and giving us space. Two gorgeous animals on the property too - a sweet old mini schnauzer and an elegant cat - who we loved meeting.
