The facility is clean, comfortable and serene. Maude and William are absolutely delightful hosts who are attentive and go over and beyond to make guests comfortable. We undoubtedly recommend Soutelande and we'll definitely be coming back.

• Lighthouse tour was fantastic • Chef-prepared dinners—especially the salmon—were next-level • Absolutely stunning views all around • Candles – loved having them on, such a warm touch • Bedding – super cozy and inviting, we really loved it (and the heating pads—thank you, thank you, that was wonderful!) • The upstairs outdoor area – we even liked that it was open-air, totally incredible experience I also want to mention how lovely Ashwin and Annelize were. Their smiles were radiant—they looked like glowing angels. Ashwin was especially sweet and helpful, and his English was excellent. I’m not sure if Annelize spoke English (it didn’t seem like she understood much), but she was so kind and warm. They were both genuinely wonderful and added a lot to the experience. And Simon’s meals were next level, and his friendliness added so much love to our experience. Lin, you’ve created something rare and beautiful—your place gave us one of those memories we’ll be talking about for the rest of our lives

We were in PE for a just under a week, this suited our needs perfectly. We stayed in the main house, appreciated the home away from home feel and was fairly private from other tenants on the property. Hosts were very responsive.

    A charming, cozy cabin equipped with nearly everything you'll need. The hosts are incredibly helpful and supportive, even allowing us to leave our luggage when they had other guests arriving. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful enough for all four of us. She truly made the place feel like home.

    Lovely cottage at a good location. Very helpful and friendly host. The cottage is well equipped. Not inconvenienced by load shedding is a huge plus. We stayed for 10 nights and would gladly book it again when we re-visit PE.
