Plenty of choice for continental breakfast with a big choice of cereals available, together with fruit and yoghurt. Fresh bread was supplied for toasting, with honey, jams and Vegemite spreads

Spacious studio, perfect for a couple or small family (we were traveling with our one year-old - note that we brought our own travel cot). Nice terrace, good bed, airconditioning worked well. The owner is very friendly and available for all your questions. We had a great stay here!

Location was beautiful and the house layout was great. Best of all was the large deck and yard that the dogs could enjoy.

Eden Retreat was, to us, a little piece of paradise. The property, gardens and vista were beautiful. We felt completely removed from the rest of the world, and yet everything we wanted to see or do was less than half an hour away by car. Cooking was a breeze with the five-burner gas cooktop and oven, as was meal prep on the long wooden bench top. The pantry included staples such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, olive oil and a few sauces and spices. We very much appreciated the inclusion of a stove-top coffee maker too. We loved the view from the bathroom whilst standing under the rain shower each morning. It's possibly the nicest bathroom we've ever seen. The property was truly unique and the use of stone, timber and rock was beautifully and carefully done. Sitting outside first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon listening to the birdsong was delightful. We felt very privileged to be surrounded by the Daintree rainforest whilst looking out over the Coral Sea. A very special place indeed.
