The house is a beautiful big villa in a quiet area of Abu Simbel, perfect to reach the temples, go for a walk along the water or go to the centre (restaurant), all reachable in a few minutes by foot. It was clean, very spacy (there are 3 rooms) and with a chilled and cozy atmosphere, fresh drinks and snacks/fruit available. Delicious breakfast on the table outside. The owner (Jeje) is super nice and available for information and help on whatsoever, we spoke spanish. We had lunch and dinner at his brother's restaurant (New Abu Simble), having very tasty fish from the lake, and also got a discount. This accomodation was a treat during our trip.

Pool is wondeful addition. Washing machine also. Owner was very kind, trustful and available from the moment od booking. We have landed in the middle of the night and he organized transport and checked if we were ok. Hot water for shower was ready for us. There is AC but no heating, and our February night was a bit cold. Warm new blankets were provided, though it would be essential to put light sheet under the blankets that could be changed, too. Rooms were very clean but owner should try to clean the kitchen and dishes a bit better and improve bathroom (specially floors) if possible. Short walk to the Nubian Museum. Despite the surrounding area is quite unclean, with trash along the street, I felt safe walking alone and people were polite.

This home gave us an authentic experience of homes in Aswan, with a great view overlooking the town & low dam. Our only regret was that we didn't have enough time in our tight schedule to unwind and enjoy the place to the most. Host & owner were very receptive and helpful. They assisted us for a quick tour, book train tickets onwards and more. The authentic homely breakfast cooked by locals was awesome too..

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

Our stay at Villa Misk was absolutely wonderful! Despite our late arrival at midnight, the owner and his son warmly welcomed us and ensured we had everything we needed. They were incredibly helpful, even assisting us in booking a transfer from Aswan Airport to the villa, which made our journey seamless. The villa itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views that feel like something out of a fairytale. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. We highly recommend Villa Misk to anyone visiting the area. A truly unforgettable stay with such kind and hospitable hosts!
