He's lovely to chat with and just overall made us feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was the perfect size for the two of us. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot outside of the city but that's still close to Galway and easy access to so much of the beautiful Irish countryside.

Stayed with a group of 10 friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The cottages were gorgeous and there was so much space for a group. It was very warm and cosy and the heat was on when we arrived. Beautiful decorated and it was located in a lovely quiet area a short drive (6-7 mins) from Charlestown where we were able to pick up a takeaway. The owners had left tea waters milk etc and the bathrooms were full with shampoos soap etc. The check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and easy to contact.

Wow - what a great place to stay for three nights just outside of Galway! The owner, Jacqueline, could not have been anymore accommodating. She was so nice and even provided us w/ an extra gift for my 50th birthday. We arrived to a beautiful Irish oasis with a wonderful view and a welcome basket. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the sea and the amazing seascapes. I can’t say enough about this cottage, it’s charm and the owner’s hospitality. If you are looking for a traditional Ireland experience then this is the place for you!

My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!
