Broomfields Country House is situated near Melrose. Melrose Abbey is 5 km away. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. The rooms offer a private bathroom and a shower. Quiet location with lovely views. A lovely log fire in the lounge. Martin and his wife were a lovely couple. Fried breakfast was extra but there was lovely fresh fruit, croissants, smoothie eccetera included in the price.

This beautiful country house hotel from 1861, set in 28 acres of wonderful gardens and 4 Gold Stars (Visit Scotland) for affordable luxury 30 km from Edinburgh. Lovely, quiet country location. The building itself was very elegant and spotlessly clean. It was clear that the grounds and the walled garden were meticulously cared for. The breakfasts and dinners were superb and every staff member was friendly and attentive from the minute we entered to the moment we left. Our room was beautiful and well equipped with all the essentials and some extras! The proprietor made a point of chatting with all the guests.

This 4-star silver AA awarded Victorian house is nestled in the village of Innerleithen and still retains many of its 19th Century features. Fantastic stay, everything we needed & nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return next year.
