Hilltop Whakaipo Estate er staðsett í Taupo, 35 km frá Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley og 16 km frá Great Lake-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni. Peter and Michelle welcomed us in their home so warmly, together with their beautiful Labs, Bear, Meg and Jessie - that we had a hard time leaving the estate on our last day! They are the perfect hosts, thoughtful and easy-going. The view over the rolling hills and lake Taupo is fantastic, especially at sunset, and we enjoyed spending the evenings on the outside bench, playing with the dogs and taking in the view. Breakfast was also amazing, prepared every morning by Michelle with fresh produce. We also had the chance to see the deer up close! We have great memories from our stay at Whakaipo Estate and would definitely go back if we are visiting the region again! Thank you again, Peter and Michelle, for your lovely welcome!

It was so peaceful and quiet. Denise, our host, was a delight! Freshly baked bread, milk and butter in the refrigerator were indicators of the thoughtfulness in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.

We could see the cows in the paddock when we arrived and even from the lounge area and some of the bedroom windows. The area is also quaint and quiet with great sunset views. The place has everything you need for a short stay and a short drive from Hobbiton and the Blue Springs.

A sustainable property with hikes on-site in the bush. Very relaxing and a wonderful experience.

Miranda Orchard Cottage er staðsett í Miranda, í innan við 5,3 km fjarlægð frá Miranda Hot Springs og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu. Was nice to get extras considering there was no near by shop. Water, juice, biscuits, milk, lots of coffee, salt, sauce, all sorts. And the outside table.

Wendy and Gary are really welcoming and kind.They gave us tea and cake when we arrived and made sure were settled in after our long drive. The room was super comfy and spotless. What a bonus to have the use of the pool too! It was so nice to be with hosts who were friendly but not intrusive. The location for touring the area was just perfect. We wish we had stayed longer!

Great stay, house was super comfortable for our family, had everything we needed and was really clean and warm. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. Really easy to get to the shuttle for the Tongariro crossing. Excellent place to stay, highly recommended. Thank you!
