This hotel had popped up in my searches several times before, but I was always sceptical, because of its location in Gorublyane. I finally gave it a chance and it really exceeded my expectations. My room was large and squeaky clean with almost no visible wear and tear. The building design is quite nice. There weren't many guests during my stay and I was the only person in the restaurant, but it still remained open until late.

Everything felt new, modern, and spotlessly clean. All facilities were fully operational, including the spa, massages, fitness center, bar, and restaurant, with no need to request anything in advance. Ludmil is the most wonderful host. He was always easy to communicate with, met me on arrival, and shared helpful and informative stories over breakfast. Breakfast was traditional with such delicious Bulgarian yoghurt, juice and coffee. This is set up as a true bed & breakfast. I had complete privacy in my room, with air conditioning and private shower/toilet. There are only three guest rooms and the opportunity to meet other guests at breakfast if you wish. The rooms are basic and have everything you need. The art on the wall is a lovely simple style. The area is easy to walk to the centre and safe to return to even as a single woman late at night.
