Beautiful small hotel, with modern facilities. It was in an excellent location, just steps away from the beach, and yet it was exceptionally quiet. Free parking practically in front of the door, along the avenue. As a single traveler, I stayed in the Stockholm room, their only single room. It was small but cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and included in the price. Very friendly staff. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for a long time, and very reasonably priced.

Offering charming rooms with rustic décor, La Hotel Rural El Angel de la Guarda is set in the small village of Güemes, 6 km from the beaches at Langre. It offers a beautiful setting ideal for hiking. The host or owner was very welcoming. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. For walkers like ourselves who were doing part of El Camino there were no nearby restaurants but we'd already learned that some of the village hotels we were choosing might only offer breakfast, which was the case here. But what a fine breakfast it was!
