The location in the middle of the small village of Azay Le Rideau and close to the chateau is great. The staff, Thomas, Elisa and others are very helpful booking the restaurant for us and assisting. Their breakfast is very complete and a nice set-up. Restaurants nearby are charming. I had a tea break in the afternoon with my son at Biscuithé and it was awesome.

Lovely place and very quiet and peaceful. Roselyn, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and very clean and breakfast was great.

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen. We have just spent two memorable nights at La Dixmeresse with the new owners, Geraldine and Charles, who treated us like guests in their own home. La Dixmeresse is a charming, historic property, sympathetically renovated to accommodate today’s needs. It is on the edge of Restigne, a small quiet village surrounded by vineyards and well located for visiting multiple chateaux and wineries in this lovely region of France. Our bedroom was large and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and high-quality bed linen and towels. It was spotlessly clean and had every convenience. Geraldine is an excellent cook. A lovely breakfast was included, and we chose to have dinner there both nights. For my husband, who is diabetic, she arranged a beautiful fruit plate for his dessert, instead of the decadent chocolate cake with crème anglaise that I enjoyed! Charles (English speaking) helped us plan our tour each day, suggesting places that we had overlooked and giving us advice about which routes to take that would be most scenic.

Located in Candé-sur-Beuvron, l’Auberge de la Caillère is 15 km from Blois and 20 km from the Château de Cheverny. Very clean & quiet. Serene feeling. New, in excellent condition Staff very helpful, particularly Max & Clara. Big parking lot with 3 handicapped spaces. Tastefully done, overall. No real problems.

Surrounded by a planted park, this B&B is set in a 19th-century house and is located in Bourges. Check in was very smooth. The house and room are very well decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast included many homemade options and everything I tried was delicious. The location is just a short walk to the train station in a quiet area. Very convenient. I would definitely stay again when I am in Bourges!
