Set in a mid-19th-century neoclassical house right opposite Kapodistrias Square, the boutique hotel Nafsimedon offers a small garden with palm trees overlooking Kolokotronis Park. Everything was great - the location, the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is old and beautiful, especially the small garden where you have breakfast. It was clean and spacious, comfortable bed with a firm matrass (just how we like it). Checking in and out was smooth, and the breakfast is simple but somehow sufficient.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. Everything! My wife, daughter and I felt very welcome right from the start. Nice room. Fantastic breakfast which also was very priceworthy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Occupying a traditional stone mansion with wonderful views of the surrounding area, Bacchus is a charming and luxurious pension 3 km from Ancient Olympia. It was fantastic overall - warm welcome, easy check in - very clean and ideal for our needs. The food there is amazing and I recommend everyone trying the lamb oregano casserole - to do for!

Former residence of a 19th century mayor of Nafplion, Ilion is situated in the centre of the Old Town, overlooking Syntagma Square. It features classical furnishings and rooms with different themes. Perfectly equipped rooms, nice air conditioning, nice bath, wine in the fridge, cold water for drinking.

Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia. The room was very nice. The breakfast was very good.
