Aloha Hotel Yogyakarta is a 10-minute drive from Yogyakarta Royal Palace and a 25-minute drive from Adi Sucipto International Airport. Very gentle, kind and helpful hosts. Quiet and comfortable sleep in a nice area of Yogyakarta for restaurants etc (I liked Waring Heru and Adam's cafe had great coffee and egg sandwiches for brekky). They can help you organise tours etc but there is no push at all to do so. Really good value.

Loved the cottage I was in. Big and spacious. This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

International and Asian dishes are served at the on-site Signatures Restaurant, while Paulaner Brauhaus offers home-brewed beers. OKU Japanese Restaurant serves Japanese food that combines modern take and traditional flavours. Kempi Deli presents a range of amazing cakes, and can also cater to customised cake requests. Great location with true hospitality from check-in to check-out. The grand deluxe room was very specious and quiet with an incredible central view. Loved to end a hectic day by taking a bath in the free standing bathtub at the window front watching the busy traffic at Bundaran HI outside. The breakfast buffet was great & OKU served excellent Japanese food. Thanks to all the friendly staff to make my stay truly amazing.

We can see Borobudur when we look out. The environment is very quiet and blends into the atmosphere of the park. The price includes tickets and tour guide, and the staff service is very good. Recommended to stay here if visiting Borobudur. Paying extra for Picnic breakfast in the morning is also a very worthwhile experience.If you are planning to visit Borobudur, this is the best place to stay.
