Unique and amazing experience in a building from colonial times full of history and art pieces. It was a lot of fun to get lost in the labyrinth of all the floors and discover many exhibition rooms. Every room is different and has its own theme. The rooms are very good and high quality with AC, comfortable bed and nice showers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Communication with them was very quick, either at the reception or through WhatsApp. We recommend taking the offered tour, they will show you the whole location and give you a lot of background information about the history and art connected to this place. I definitely recommend this place and will gladly come back the next time I visit Jakarta.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pesona Alam Resort, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights for our family was the heated children's swimming pool, set at a perfect 32 degrees. It made for hours of fun for the kids! The kids' corner was also fantastic, offering plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The resort itself is vast, with a range of facilities that truly require a full day to explore. From beautiful gardens to various recreational options, there’s something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend Pesona Alam Resort for a memorable family getaway!

Upgraded, more spacious lobby, offering a nice view to the beach, the beach is completely safe to enter and play, food tasted very good, much food option to offer, they offer starbucks! Lovely, all the staffs are friendly, service are improving, room was clean and properly prepared. I went to this hotel a few times still always fascinated with the convenient location, the price are also affordable.

Despite getting an upset gut, I really enjoyed my first visit to Jakarta, wouldn't mind staying a bit longer to check it out more. Similar to parts of Malaysia, but it's own distinct ways. The people I met were very hospitable and welcoming. Excellent food to enjoy. Very affordable.

Yogyakarta was a city so filled with culture and history that every day was a new adventure! As a mature woman, I felt totally safe in this city, and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the laneways and environs on foot. I did find the traffic challenging, but by avoiding the main roads, I not only escaped the hectic , crowded streets, but became familiar with the charms of urban villages, and got to meet many friendly and helpful locals. I thoroughly recommend this city !

I had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at this apartment. The place was clean, cosy, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby facilities. The Cs was friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Some nice tea states, craters and volcanoes within an hour's to two hours' drive. Braga Street is excellent experience early in the morning and at dusk. Nice Restaurants and delicious street food at the night market. It was an excellent place to take travel photos of Dutch era heritage buildings and vibrant markets. Friendly locals. I used the ride sharing service Grab to get around the city. The lively atmosphere of the Braga Street with plenty of restaurants and small food outlets were a big attraction for my family.

This place has planted the most trees of any city I have been to in south-east asia. Although I was there for work not leisure the shade makes it more pleasant to walk around - but note it's very difficult to cross the road. More pedestrian bridges would be a good next step.

ijen is pretty much overrated, it's a nice 6-hour-ish hike with above medium difficulty, the flame is underwhelming which is slightly bigger than a camp fire and the crater? go to Bromo instead. With the current volcano incident related to the Brazilian tourist, I am more convinced that people should be aware of tour guide's quality and training in East Java. Upon reading some brief information about traveling to Ijen, I found to mandatory in getting a guide, I went there alone and caught weird looks from other guides, some avoided my interactions when they found out I was alone, some others was good and paying attention.

We came to Malang, to show my grandson where my father was taken prisoner of war in March 1942. We also came here to get to the top of the Bromo volcano and watch the sunrise from the edge of the crater. For the rest there is not much to see in Malang, except for the country side. We have been shopping for two flashlights to use during our climb to the top of the Bromo volcano during the night and we were pleasantly surprised to find a super modern shopping mall with shops representing all the world known brand names. Forgot the name of this shopping mall.

I wanted to do it solo on motorcycle.

I wanted to do it solo on motorcycle. Actually the jeep owners know exactly where to go, when, where to park etc. Takes the hassle out of everything. Not expensive. I didn't use a horse to get to Bromo rim but wish i did.200 K negotiable down to half i think My exercise day.

An excellent facility. Walking distance to temple. Hotel staff organised day trips which were great. Hotel was in grest condition. Sunsets were great. We could the temple in the distance. Food and service by all staff was excellent. Surrounding gardens were well maintained.
