Camden Court Hotel is just 500 metres from Dublin’s St Stephen’s Green. It boasts a leisure centre with a pool and hot tub, sauna and steam room. . The staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodating.

The 4* Mespil Hotel is located in the city centre alongside the Grand Canal & within walking distance to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, Aviva Stadium and the Ballsbridge area. When I arrived, I was beyond tired and really appreciated the exceptional bed - very comfortable. The breakfast is also outstanding and I was surprised to find that there's table service for some items as well as also a buffet. The breakfast was so good I regretted not trying the restaurant though there's lots of good eating options within a few minutes walk. The room was also very clean and quiet. It was easier to walk into the centre of town than I expected from the map. Though not large, the room was much bigger than the one in another similarly priced hotel in Dublin I stayed at later in the trip.

Set in an 11th-century castle the Clontarf Hotel combines ancient architecture with 21st-century facilities. It was a luxurious property with excellent staff, it was just a shame we couldn’t stop longer.

This luxury boutique-style hotel is located in Ballsbridge, 1.5 miles from Dublin city centre. It offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and Nespresso coffee machines. I travelled with my daughter and we had a double room, which was very comfortable and big enough. There was everything we needed in the room (toiletries, kettle, coffee machine, tea and coffee) including drinking water from a dedicated tap. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located around 30 minutes of pleasant walk from the Trinity College. A bus stop is just in front. The breakfast was also good and at a reasonable price.
