They went out of their way to help to recommend outstanding restaurants, activities and the happy hour was fantastic to meet other travelers. The location is excellent.

We loved our stay at Golden Residences Hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were also top notch! We enjoyed the breakfast spread and the kids had a great time at the indoor heated pool.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Fantastic gardens, great views of the hills and sea..convenient for the buses to get into town with bus stops right outside. Beautiful breakfast every morning. Staff always helpful with any enquiries and special thanks to Manuela for arranging car hire with car dropped directly to the car park.
