We stayed at the Worsley Arms whilst completing a hike around the Howardian Hills, and found it to be a comfortable, characterful and extremely convenient place to rest! Hovingham is itself an idyllic village nestled in the Yorkshire countryside, and I would highly recommend the Worsley Arms as a place to rest after a long day of walking. Charming local atmosphere (we happened to stay on one of the monthly 'open mic' nights, comprising a gathering of local musicians, old and young), hearty food and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful place, excellent food and service, great bar. Prices are just right for an hotel of this quality, it's very busy but the service is brilliant and attentive, the staff are brilliant. The rooms are lovely, spacious, and well equipped, super clean. Couldn't find a fault it I wanted to. We will definitely stay here again.
