Lovely clean, warm room. The bed was large and very comfortable. There were towels and toiletries, but we did not use them. Loved the biscuits! Very quiet and scenic location, we both got a good night's sleep, which was the point of the stay. We had to re-tune the TV, but once we had done that, it was fine.

Good location a little outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but within easy reach. It's a nice green residential area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but if you are a light sleeper like me make sure to ask for a quiet room. The staff were very nice.

The location was perfect -an easy walk from the train station and within minutes of the high street and the beautiful historic buildings. The room was great and provided everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

I have been staying and eating at the Old Parsonage since my college days, 30 years ago. The historic fabric of the building is a highlight. Decor, furnishings, bathrooms, bedlinen, are all outstanding—country-house casual without being frumpy. The rooms although small are superbly equipped and comfortable.
Getting through Horspath to find the campsite is a bit...
Getting through Horspath to find the campsite is a bit awkward (narrow roads and sharp bends) and you probably need satnav, but it is straightforward. The track between the main road and the campsite is rather bumpy! We went into the village for breakfast, to Bruin's Cafe on the High Street - really nice, lovely tasty food and great service, would thoroughly reccommend.
