- outstanding restaurant with fascinating dinner, often with creative highlight
- pheomenal fish main course
- very good beef tartare
- must save appetite for the dessert, including dessert with apple, with *apple gelato ( with sophisticated taste)
- a wide selection of wine, and i trusted the recommendation of the manager
- an extremely wide variety of choices for breakfast, even in the end of season (unlikely many hotels which would usually become less attentive and provide less choices to cut cost which honestly can be understood)
- wellness centre with private spa session is a treat and would never be enough (inclusive) (there is a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room)
- self made scrub with salt and olive oil, and different drinks in the spa everyday are hearty bonus
- the bathroom in my room has window
- the scenery of the balcony in the room with snow mountain view

Loved Courmayeur, the place, the people, the food.
Loved Courmayeur, the place, the people, the food. Such a pretty centre and lovely restaurants up the mountain. A fairly small ski area, so 4 days of skiing was enough here. Will definitely come back here for a weekend, but not for a week.

Skiing: high so plenty of snow, in good condition.
Skiing: high so plenty of snow, in good condition. Mosy of the lifts were reasonably quick. Very little queuing when we were there. Lots of potential for off piste. Most of the blue runs were linking paths rather than enjoyable pistes. Nice reds and blacks. Relatively small area, but if you have a car La Thuile is nearby.
Weather wasn't great so didn't go up the Skyway.

I have visited Courmeyour 2 or 3 times over the years.
I have visited Courmeyour 2 or 3 times over the years. It has definitely gone 'up market' with a lot of boutique shops and bars appearing since I was last here, However, if you are looking for reasonably priced pizza/pasta/burgers etc there are plenty of restaurants that deliver. I went low season and the town was quite quiet. One of two bars that had a bit of life but not a 'party' town.
After skiing in Austria for the last 10 years or so, I found things like the beer, ski hire and ski pass quite expensive. Its definitely cheaper than the other side of the valley in Chamonix though.

The town centre is beautiful with lots of shops.
Unfortunately, everything was expensive: restaurants, shops & food. There is only one tiny supermarket which is almost impossible to find. It seats in a hidden place. No proper signage to find it.

Courmayeur is a pretty Italian town located underneath the Mont Blanc massif with a charming centre only slightly spoilt by the presence of the Aosta valley motorway which runs through the Mont Blanc tunnel. There are several restaurants in the town centre and good shopping. Apart from skiing there are many mountain walks in the area as well as the unmissable Skyway Monte Bianco.
This is probably the most charming hotel I've ever stayed at! It's in a historic building in La Saxe, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away from the chaotic tourist center of Courmayeur. We had 2 rooms, both so different and fun! One of them had a rooftop terrace that overlooked the town and mountains and was the most perfect place to hang out. This hotel manages to feel really quiet and historic, while still being really clean and chic. The included breakfast was fantastic. We had such a wonderful stay!!
Breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of choice. We loved the location. We enjoyed the views from the hotel room, spa, and lawn, but we were also able to walk to the Monte Bianco SkyWay and the gondola to Pre d’Pascale. For trips to Courmayeur, the hotel shuttle provided a very quick drop off and pick up service.
The room was a very nice size with a nice bathroom, and the evening turn down service was very nicely done. We also enjoyed the various spaces to gather in the hotel lobby and outside.
The hotel is just near the Courmayeur’s pedestrian street. The staf was very nice, the owners were very attentives. We traveled with our dog and they arranged for us a table near the breakfast room where we could stay all together (with the dog) and have breakfast. At every 30 minutes they have a shuttle to the skilifts. The breakfast is very good, the rooms are sparkling clean and everything was perfect for us.If we will go again in Coumayeur we will definitely stay at hotel Croux.
Everything! Staying in Hotel La Grange was exceptional. We fell in love with this place. Stuff is very friendly, you feel like at home. Wonderful breakfast (homemade ice cream from fresh milk was amazing!), cozy rooms, a lot of animals...The village itself is also very beautiful and sweet. We would definetely come here again, if we will ever visit this corner of the Italy. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience!
The staff was kind, courteous, and friendly. The hotel is in a beautiful historical stone building dating to 16th century. The location is great: just a short walk to the Dolonne cabin lift if you're skiing, and not far from Courmayeur town centre. There is a parking lot for hotel guests just off the main road. There are also some very good restaurants around the hotel. Given these facts, the hotel is very affordable.
Great apartment and location in the heart of Courmayeur, walkable distance from the main shops, restaurants and supermarket. Free parking close to the apartment. Davide is a fantastic host, who makes you feel super welcome and gives you a lot of tips for things to do locally. Good WiFi, we worked remotely for one day without any problems. Top focaccia ligure place located next to the apartment.
The hotel is in a great location - a 10-15 min walk to either lift and with plenty of restaurants in the locality.
The staff were great - cheerful, funny and extremely helpful, including the ski instructor who took an absolute novice from our group and made them enjoy skiing for the first time!
The rooms were all you needed and great value for money.
Hotel Tavernier was the perfect place to stay this weekend in Courmayeur. The Dolonne Ski Lift, Ski Rental, and Ski pass office is a 4 minute walk from the hotel. The town is a 13 minute walk, very nice for drinks and dinner. The room and beds were phenomenal, as well as the room size. Breakfast was ideal, pay for it!
The atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. You feel warmly and authentically welcomed. The staff does everything to support you in any possible way and to make you enjoy your stay to its maximum. I haven’t experienced this anywhere else even in many 5 stars hotels. It is therapeutic and comforting to stay there.
Very close to the ski lift and a place for me to park at the hotel, staff were welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was much better than I expected considering the price I payed for my stay. A bargain hotel which excelled all my expectations.
Excellent position at the beginning of Val Ferret: ideal for in winter season for Nordic skiing or for some nice hikes with or without snow shoes.
Gentle and supporting staff. Excellent restaurant annexed to the hotel.
The best part of the whole stay was the large breakfast they had in the morning. We loved all the options! The location is also excellent and within walking distance of good restaurants and the old part of Courmayeur.
A real gem this hotel. Extremely well placed for the ski lift and for the charming pedestrian high street. Elena and her team are amazing! Breakfast is great and they even do scrambled eggs for you if you ask!
Excellent breakfast, very kind and helpfull staff, perfect location (close to ski lifts and nextdoor to the lovely village of Entrèves). You won't find any hôtel as good as this one in Courmayeur :))
Beautiful hotel, walkable to all of the restaurants. The staff was friendly and happy to be there. We also had the best breakfast of our whole trip there! I would highly recommend.
The hotel is lovely and cosy, facilities are well preserved. Everything was clean. Good breakfast. Staff were excellent (especially Cedrik), so helpful and thoughtful.
Very cosy family hotel. The staff was outstanding and helpful with all our needs. The location is perfect for skiing since it’s five minutes to the lift.
