Such a gem! Charming historic property. Beautiful style and attention to details for comfortable travel. The staff are very attentive and friendly. And the restaurant was one of the best I’ve ever been to. Delicious creative food that is presented artfully.

Wonderful hot tub in a private backyard and patio. Very nice sauna also. The decor makes you feel like you are on a tropical island in the Caribbean. Soft bathrobes and slippers for guests are a nice touch. An amazing breakfast brought to our door in the morning. Was a great place to stay at the end of our cycling tour through the Netherlands.

We didn't have much time in Zutphen, but the old town is very charming! We definitely enjoyed our walk through town, and would have liked to stay a bit longer (Our accommodation was outside the town, so we only had about 1-2 hours to walk around)

Good restaurants and shops; many interesting old buildings; good bus and train services to the surrounding areas, so visits to other places easily practicable. One day I went on the bus to Eefde and saw the very interesting locks on the Twente canal; another day went to Apeldoorn and the Hoge Veluwe, butthere's enough to see in Zutphen itself such as the Walpurgis church.
After 2 stays in this hotel I can say it was 2 different experience. First time room was in 1st floor - room was so small, that I had to push my bed to the window, to get space for suitcase. Hook for coat was next to the bed what made me feel I sleep in corridor. Bathroom was bigger than bedroom.
This time my room was un 2nd floor, the room was really good size and I was really satisfied with my stay. Except breakfast - still no vegetables. Poor choice for breakfast for 4 stars hotel..
My room was located in new part of the building, but the old one is in really impessive rococo style. The town is very well renovated and you can feel the past, walking the streets. But the young lady at the reception is the real jewel in the hotel. She was helpul, giving much precise information abt town, that we needed, even the location of best cheese shop. Thank you / Dziekujemy!
The central yet quiet location of the hotel. The spaciousness and quietness of the room, as well as its equipment. There also was a bath tub. However, bath tubs are only available in double rooms. The single rooms are too small, more noisy and less well-equipped, so make sure to book a double room, even with single occupation. It is well worth the additional cost.
Because of COVID breakfast delivered at the door, very good service
I paid for the most basic room but very good price based, including the breakfast,
Nice comfy bed,
Possibility to check in early because of arrival time,
All in all a good hotel for a very decent price, very good service and staff is thinking of the customer
I will come back for sure,
Friendly staff and nice food at the restaurant. Room was small but comfortable and very clean. The pool and sauna was nice, although I could have done with some additional towels as the thin ones from the room weren't really enough. Not sure if that would be expecting too much as they don't advertise as a luxury hotel of course!
A lovely hotel, perfect location, quiet at night, very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice linens. Well done small bathroom. Immaculately clean. Perhaps because it’s still not high season there wasn’t always staff, but when they were there they were very helpful. Very close to the train station and tons of restaurants and shops.
Central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room were nice and cozy. They tried to keep the decorations of the room and hotel in line with the old monastery. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. Also the breakfast was amazing with a 3 course menu.
Breakfast was typical Dutch. The room was quiet and comfortable. The location of the hotel was within easy walking distance of the station and also the town centre and its cafes and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is pretty modern, clean-looking. Not the cosiest, but definitely hip.
Room was incredibly large, which we didn't expect.
Staff were friendly, they have a room for leaving your bike which was nice.
Friendly welcome, a good price for a nice room, especially enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and sauna (no extra charge). A walk of approx. 25 min brings you to the historic city centre of Zutphen.
The building itself is really nice, the interior carries a bit of medieval vibe.
Our hotel room is clean, neat with all the necessities. It has been a perfect getaway space for our short trip.
The restaurant/breakfast staff were very friendly. The reception staff too. Its a low budget family hotel and i got what i paid for so from that perspective it was ok.
In general it is a nice hotel, smartly organized. Staff is friendly and beds are comfy. Paid parking is in front of the door. Its a clean facility. Very nice terrace.
