From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family, and every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Here’s a detailed review of our wonderful time at this budget-friendly hotel: **Location:** The hotel is perfectly located in Sauraha, just a short walking distance from the main area. Its central location made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the town, enjoy the local culture, and experience the beauty of Chitwan. **Accommodation:** The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the ambiance of the hotel added to the overall charm of our trip. **Food:** The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including local Tharu cuisine, which was flavorful and authentic. Every meal felt like a treat, and the dining experience was a highlight of our stay. **Jungle Safari:** One of the most memorable parts of our trip was the jungle safari. Our guide, **Dipesh Chaudhary**, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the safari truly exciting. We spotted wildlife, learned about the jungle ecosystem, and had an adventure we’ll never forget. **Exceptional Staff:** The staff at Hotel Chitwan Park Village went above and beyond to make our stay special. **Ranjan Bhandari**, in particular, treated us like family. He not only arranged for us to enjoy a typical Tharu dance evening but also personally took us there in his own vehicle. His warmth and hospitality were truly heartwarming. Another standout was **Sagar**, who provided excellent service throughout our stay. He was always attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. His dedication and kindness made us feel so welcome. **Tharu Cultural Evening:** The Tharu cultural dance evening was a fantastic experience.

Loved the place! The staff was super friendly and made us feel like home. The surroundings were beautiful, garden clean and full of flowers. Quite room, where I had the best sleep after few weeks in Nepal. We also got a tour to jungle with them. Guides were very knowledgeable and caring. Explained every detail and were super patient with us. Would go back to them the next time. It really felt that they love what they do and do it from heart.

    We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

    We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

    Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

    Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself. Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

    Our one-night escape at Motherland Resort in Sauraha was simply exceptional. The standout dinner, pristine cleanliness, and the added bonus of a beautiful swimming pool made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

    July and august are not tourist season in Nepal That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

    Raj goes absolutely above and beyond for everyone- picking all guests up from the bus stop without request, free welcome tours of the town and free transport to places around town, organising really good priced tours, and organising our onward travel. All the guides were lovely and had great knowledge of the national park. I will recommend Hotel Rhino land to everyone I talk to about Chitwan!

    Excellent family business to stay in Sauraha. Very welcoming, speak English perfectly and ready to help you. Located far from the noise of bars and traffic but still close enough to all shops. Directly opposite Chitwan Park, in one weekend I saw three elephants and two rhinoceroses pass in front of the establishment so if you want exoticism you will be served.

    The ambience of the place is good. There so much greenery and the location is very close to the Chitwan National Park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is also helpful and approachable. On asking for few plants they did give us some plants to take home.
