„We were upgraded to Backyard Rio Melaka(BRM) which is our BEST stay in Melaka. BRW was situated just along the Melaka River with a scenic view. The suite comes with a bedroom of 2 Queen size bed and another Queen bed in the living room. This layout is PERFECT for families with helpers. The room is very new and spick span clean with full amenities. Location was quiet but yet near to town with the convenience of a 5 minutes walk to Jonker. Food was also available just 1 min walk from BRW. Parking is also very convenient and SAFE if you are driving which is my main concern. You can also chill out at the café just beside BRW. Victor is undeniably an attentive and thoughtful host whereby he guide us to all foodies in Malaka and address everything to my concern. „This was one Malacca CNY holiday trip which my family and I will never forget. We have the greatest and most helpful hosts one could ever asked for. Our trip to Malacca started off as something which was very unfortunate,the car which was driven by my brother in-law was involved in a road accident on our way to the homestay at Cutie's Cottage. Fortunately all 11 of us were safe and only the car's front passenger door/window was badly damaged.I'd called Connie (our homestay host) to inform her of the misfortune and immediately she had asked me if there is anything that she can help with, after knowing that we were all at the Malacca Central Police station lodging the accident report.Connie and her husband Toy, waited patiently for our arrival despite me telling them that my family would be checking in late.Upon our arrival at the homestay, Connie & Toy helped us with our baggage and then they also helped us to source car rental companies and we'd finally settled with one which was reliable and affordable. Connie offered to park our car at her own private residence to ensure safety while we used the rental car.Connie continued to check on us and she was generous to offer help whenever she can. The homestay was very spacious,clean and cozy, it really did somehow changed our moods from being traumatized by the accident to one which is more relaxed and we decided just stay in Malacca as per the days which my family had earlier planned.Connie also recommended us great "halal" food options around Malacca which was really commendable as she took the initiative to cater to her Muslim customers. The area surrounding the homestay is of close proximity to the tourist spots which was great. Despite the "No Cooking" in the homestay rule, there are a plenty of food places that we can choose to buy cooked food and also there is a supermarket just a few units away from the homestay with wholesale prices so cheap!“
