Hotels in Chengdu City Centre, Chengdu

The staffs and the breakfast 🙏

The property feels like home. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, clean rooms, convenient location, well maintained, and attention to details, good value for the price.

For a city like Chengdu, accommodation plays a crucial role in the travel experience. As we returned from Jiu Zhai Gou, Mira was on standby at the lobby and provided us a smooth checking-in with the best view of Cheng Du as usual. The in-room washing machine was a game-changer, making packing much easier since we had to move quickly to the next destination. During this stay, Ana gave fantastic recommendations for visiting the panda park, where we enjoyed watching adorable pandas play and roll around. Conversations with Kathy and Leo provided valuable insights into Chengdu’s culture, must-visit spots, and the best places to satisfy my hotpot cravings. I also want to thank two other nightshift staff members, whose names I regret forgetting, for their assistance. In a tech-savvy city like Chengdu, where many services rely on mobile apps for food ordering, ride-hailing, and navigation, excellent customer service becomes essential. The staff’s patience in guiding us through these apps was invaluable, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip. Overall, their support truly enhanced our experience.

Convenient location next to subway exit, there is a hotpot and tea place a short walk away. Comfortable and value for money. Staff are very helpful.

Nice location, very good staffers helped me a lot. Great facilities.

One of the best hotels in Chengdu

Very friendly staff, that made our stay even more comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality place hotel in Chengdu

Great hotel with very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained rooms.

Staff was excellent, spoke English well and helped us out with everything we asked for. It's a beautiful spot on a renovated traditional street, but still a short walk to the metro (for easy access to taikoo li, Tianfu, train stations) and walking distance from kuanzhai. Make sure you have some tea in the park next door. Airport pickup was seemless. We also enjoyed the breakfast wontons.

The facilities of the property is clean, staffs and so nice and very accommodating and can speak English, the location is accessible

The location is good. Staff is nice and attentive. One of the staff that I forget to ask her name was really helpful. She tried to help us with Wechat and communicated with the Didi's driver. My daughter loves staying here so much. She didn't want to leave. She enjoyed swimming every night. However, if you want to swim, don't forget to bring the swimming cap. If we have a chance to visit Chengdu again, we will definitely stay here.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient for shopping and close to metro station. Hotel staff super friendly and accommodating.

Especially Luca was very helpful in telling everything about the facilities.

My recent stay at the Shangri-La Chengdu was exceptional. The hotel's elegant ambiance, combined with impeccable service, created a truly memorable experience. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered stunning city views. I particularly enjoyed the diverse and delicious dining options, and the hotel's central location made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were attentive, professional, and always willing to assist with any request. Overall, Shangri-La Chengdu exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this vibrant city. Pro: Excellent location nice environment delicious breakfast Good sports center

The staff are very welcoming to us and the room is very cozy! I highly recommend to get breakfast here coz they have so many options for food. Our room is always clean and they did a great job in minding our luggage . This is our favorite hotel on our 3-week trip in China.
