IrelandHotel Uhland is a beautifully decorated period property in a fabulous leafy location, close to the train station. We stayed in a large room with a lovely view overlooking the street. The double bed and sofa bed were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast room is a very charming and comfortable airy space. Breakfast was the usual continental selection and the coffee was good. Lovely staff helped to contribute to the pleasant, relaxed ambience of the hotel. We'd be happy to stay here again.

SpainLocation is perfect. All interaction with the staff prior to arrival and during the stay was excellent, they consistently and efficiently managed everything. The room was lovely and I asked for a soft topper on the bed and feather pillows (I like a soft bed) and this was done without question. I changed rooms during the booking and this was also managed so well, no waiting and the staff made sure the rooms were next to each other to make it easier for me. It was an outstanding stay!

Awesome place to visit.
Awesome place to visit. You'll probably need 3 days, just to cover the city and if you do outside the city, then options are endless. Must see places are in the old town and and the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg is a must. If you can travel out one must see place is Neues Schloss Herrenchiemsee. Train to Prien and then the boat trip to the chiemsee. Can make a dat out of that. And of course the most famous two casltes Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. So one week would be just great to do most of these.

Very nice city. Always makes me wanting to come back. BMW Welt, BMW factory, BMW Museum, BMW HQ, Nymphenburg Palace and lots of other attractions worth to visit. Excellent Bavarian cuisine and biergartens as soon as you avoid tourist traps. Highly recommended

Nice city, with a lot of construction sites during my stay.
Nice city, with a lot of construction sites during my stay. It is good to check before travelling how the transport routes and tourist sites are. I have travelled during the holiday and weekend and did not find a public toilet when needed during the walk around the city. Even at the central train station, the toilet was problematic because of the construction going on.

Munich has many wonderful sites, excellent public transport. However, I suggest one visit in the Fall or Spring, August way too hot, far too many yellow jackets, and too few places with air conditioning. But, with family availability, I’ll be back next August.

i actually enjoyed munich, it felt relatively safer than other big cities in germany and people were minding their business, The weather in august is a bit too got at times but over all could be pleasant in the shade. We ate at various restaurants near the old town and the cuisine options there were rather nice. I particularly loved the area around Gartenplatz, it had nice vibes too it, i enjoyed walking around and exploring the shops, I got coffee from The Alley which was also really nice.

The hotel offers good accommodation for a short trip to Munich or for business related trips. Stuff is helpful and the hotel is located within walking distance to a subway station. The room was clean and complementary water is provided. There are also various grocery shops, bakeries and a pub close to the hotel. You will reach Munich city centre within 15-25 minutes by public transport.

Well equipped, functional and spacious rooms. Although the hotel was beside a few seedy stripper clubs, it actually felt relatively safe as there were many late night eateries and the area was lively at night! Very close by to the Munich HBF station and only an easy 15 mins walk from most city centre attractions! For the right price, we would stay there again.

The best offer you can get is this hotel in this period. Price is excellent and very cheap considering the fact that you are in the heart of City centre of Munich. Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. I always feel very warm in the room which is most important in winter time. Heating is working perfectly well.
