First of all, it was much cleaner than many 5-star hotels. The importance they place on cleanliness is truly evident in every corner of the hotel. The location is fantastic; both the slopes and the restaurants and shops are within a 2-minute walk. There's a wonderful breakfast, but the hotel's kitchen is also excellent. I definitely recommend having dinner there as well. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank you again!

This is one of the nicest boutique lodges we have ever stayed at. The facilities are modern and clean, while also exuding the charm of an alpine chalet, with beautiful wood accents throughout the rooms and shared spaces. The location was excellent for us, as it is in a quiet and charming small neighborhood on the outskirts of Val D'Isere ("Le Fornet" - see photo), but still a short 10-minute bus ride to the commercial center of the village. Modern and comfortable buses ran every 5-10 minutes from a stop very near the hotel, and it was easy to catch buses back to Le Fornet day and night. There is also a gondola lift just outside the Chalet, via which one can access the entire Val D'Isere and Tignes ski domain. But the very best part of our stay at the chalet was the personal service and attentiveness of the proprietors, Stephane and Mary. They happily assisted us to make restaurant reservations (which was not easy during the busy holiday period when we visited), as well as advised us on everything from which lifts to ski to where the best deals were on clothing and souvenirs. Our trip was much enhanced by staying at a smaller family hotel with such great hosts. The Chalet also has many of the amenities you'd expect in a larger hotel, such as a ski storage room, and spa area with hot tub, sauna, and steam room. There is also a nice sitting area with a fireplace for apres-ski drinks and snacks. The Continental breakfasts (with omelets on demand) were tasty and plentiful. We would gladly return to this chalet the next time we visit Val D'Isere

I really enjoyed my time staying here. Cindy was extremely helpful when I lost my phone. The tourism office told my family that they had found my phone. My family told Cindy and Cindy went out of her way to come to the apartment and tell me that my phone had been found. The apartment itself is great, the shower was nice and warm. It’s an easy 4 minute walk from the ski lifts. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away. Thank you!
