We had the best week at hotel Attiki. The location is spectacular, walking up the street of knights every day to access the hotel! The room was compact but well equipped with everything we needed and the grounds provided a quiet and serene place to relax (we loved sitting on the terrace in the evenings with a drink). The breakfast is freshly prepared each morning and absolutely delicious (I would recommend trying the walnuts with your Greek yoghurt). Finally the hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful and made us feel completely at home. I would recommend hotel Attiki to anyone visiting the old town if you want to experience living like a royal!

The location is amazing and unbeatable - the hostel is situated in the very heart of the old town in a historic building with decorated high ceiling, so you really feel living in the old town. All small Middle Ages - like streets are just outside your door gate, while Elli beach is a close walking distance away. Airport bus is also 10 min walk away. I really enjoyed the inner yard / garden of the hostel with beautiful plants and cozy tables to sit, although it can get very hot in the day time. The beds are not bunk beds, but normal beds with spotlessly clean sheets. Every guest gets a locker upon arrival, only it is pretty small, meant for storing precious things like laptop, but not suitable for fitting in the whole bag. Luggage can be safely stored before check-in and after check-out. There is also a small kitchen, but it is really so small that I don't think anyone is really cooking there (people were mainly using the fridge, there is also a water boiler, common use dishes, if you want to eat the food from outside). Showers are combined with toilets and very small, basically there is a hole in the bathroom floor for the water to go in; I think this is common in South countries, plus toilets and showers were always very clean; soap and toilet paper was available all the time. Wifi was working fine; I think it would be sufficient for those working remotely. The owners are very helpful, kind and hard-working, they keep the hostel very clean at all times. I felt like at home and would definitely come back to stay for longer time (I stayed 3 days this time). All in all, you couldn't find anything for a comparable quality and price in that location. To be honest, based on my experience, you cannot find find accommodation for this price and quality in the whole island of Rhodes!

We are grateful to Olya and her husband for their hospitality and warm welcome in Rhodes. Olya shared some great recommendations for restaurants and places to see in Rhodes. The location is perfect: lots of shops and restaurants are nearby, it's located right at the main street in Rhodes: Sokratous. The main street is quite busy and crowded. Our room was equipped with AC which was really nice and helpful during the heat in August. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and highly recommend Medieval Rose!

Casa Ifestou is a great choice for travelers looking for a balance between price and experience. We loved the oriental decor, the friendly owner, the perfect central location in the heart of the Old Town. Roof seating area was also very relaxing and relatively quiet given the central location. We also loved and would highly recommend the amazing breakfasts at the Decan Bistro Breakfast Brunch that is run as part of the same set up and is almost next door in the same block.
