Homestay located in a very peacefull neighborhood, the room is clean and they have comfy communal space. Mas Jali and the team, Mbak Naya and Mas Dewo, are super friendly and helpful. Mas Jali even took me to the local flea market, hunting some old stuff, and we went on a walk to malioboro. The other thing I like on my stay here is I can meet other travelers from various place with various interesting stories.

I had a truly amazing stay in Yogyakarta due to picking this hotel. The staff was very nice and attentive to the needs, very helpful with the requests. Hotel was conveniently located to reach the main attraction areas by foot. The garden is really a delight to look at while having your breakfast in the Salesar area. Would definitely pick this hotel if I am again in Yogyakarta

It’s a lovely homestay. Almost like a bed and breakfast vibe to it. The people are super sweet and kind! Breakfast is delicious. Location wise it’s great too!

My first stop in Java was Yogyakarta, and Huma was the very first hostel I stayed at in Indonesia. I honestly didn’t have high expectations as I'd heard stories about some hostels in Asia being barely decent. But Huma completely changed that for me. If anything, it raised the bar. I arrived sweaty and tired after walking from the train station in the heat, and the team welcomed me so kindly, it really made a difference. Check-in was smooth, and to my surprise, the hostel had just opened. Lucky me! The room was spotless, and the linens were super fresh. Big thanks to Dida and Grace (and other ladies) for all the tips and for patiently answering my million questions 😄 You both made my stay so much easier!

The home stay was well taken care of, the beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked, and the owner was very kind and offered to show us some of the best places for tourism and food! The owner even gave our group some free mango juice while we were waiting for one member of our group to arrive! It’s also very close to the Kraton and Taman Sari Water Palace. We were only there for one night, but I would gladly stay a whole week there!

The owner is very nice to arrange the tours for us so we are picked up directly at the train station and dropped off at the house after the tour. The house is about 15 min drive to the popular pedestrian street. The house is spacious and has very clean marble floor.
