Excellent location water front rooms. Very unique property . It’s like being in a museum with a lot of antique things. Restaurant was great with very good breakfast. Too many food items and very tasty. Didn’t have to have lunch after the heavy breakfast. Restaurant staffs and receptionist are very helpful and polite. Owner came to us during breakfast and enquired us regarding the stay. Very close to some tourist attractions like synagogue, palace and lot of shops around for perfumes and antiques. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to others .

Excellent location in the Jewish area, the nicest host you will ever meet. He arranged backwaters trip and taxi to go to Munnar and was always making sure I was all right

There are a lot of hotels that use the descriptor of boutique, but The Postcard Mandalay Hall really fits the bill. Small, beautifully repurposed with thoughtful artwork and furniture and a lovely private pool. The Postcard Mandalay Hall’s attentive staff want to make sure everything you need or want is attended to. The location, steps from the clock tower and historic synagogue, is lovely. It is has the potential of being a busy street with tourists during the day but it’s also a pedestrian street which means it is quiet at night. Also, the cafes and shops around make it easy to explore and grab a coffee or snack just outside your door. There’s a lot to items to choose from antiques to hand smocked items and beautiful hand made lace. Also, the water is minutes away by foot with the Dutch Palace a short stroll as well as other historical places. There’s another hotel on the water minutes away so you can have a cold one in their restaurant and look out at the port and watch the boats and water fowl. Our bigger hotel on the other side of Kochi was pleasant but, The Postcard Mandalay is in another category. It’s really is a beautiful place to stay at and enjoy. We were so comfortable there and so enjoyed the space of Gallery 1. Based on this experience, we forward to staying at other Postcard properties.

The staff and grounds were amazing. I arrived under the weather and fatigued, I was looked after with care and within a day and a half I was 100% again.

Host Shaan was charming and helpful. Breakfast on the roof was a little different every morning, always local and delicious. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a pleasant little balcony. The Kerala cultural center with dance programs was just steps away. I would certainly stay there again and strongly recommend it.

The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful and kind. They helped us with our planning for departure late in the day and did everything possible for our comfort. The hotel is nicely located, close to the shore. The food was great - starting the day with a masala dosa was great. We enjoyed our dinner as well. No time for us for the spa or pool, but it was nice they were available. Great place!

The room was truly an architectural masterpiece. Very different from the regular hotel rooms. Room was very spacious with a seperate dressing area and a balcony. Bathroom was very spacious and elegant too. This hotel is has a direct entrance to the Forum mall that makes this hotel location even more convenient.
