We had a really lovely stay at the Sayura. We arrived exhausted after a long flight and had a wonderful welcome with mango juice on arrival in the lovely garden setting . The room was very clean and had all we needed. We slept 12 hours so that must reflect the comfort. Gamini was an amazing host and did everything he could to give us the best possible stay. He had lots of information and advice and provided us with a really excellent driver for the next leg of our trip. He quickly ordered tuk tuks for our trips to the centre. The breakfasts were lovely catering for our vegetarian needs and we had a delicious poke bowl meal at the Poké restaurant which is part of the establishment. Thank you Gamini and the helpful staff for all the above. We loved the presence also of Max the dog and the table tennis was fun.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The location is fantastic — everything you could need is within a 5–10 minute walk: the beach, Galle Road, great restaurants, markets, currency exchange shops, cozy coffee spots, and even a mosque. It couldn’t have been more convenient. The best part was the owner — he personally manages the property and is always around to help. Super friendly, flexible, and genuinely cares about making sure you have everything you need. It really made a difference in my stay. I really liked the sea view and the modern feel of the apartment. Staffs are very helpful. It was very clean and well taken care of. It’s just a short walk to Marine Drive, in a quiet and cozy area. There are also a few restaurants, shopping options and a money exchange nearby.
