It’s the second time we came to the Riff and we are again very happy that we chose this beautiful hotel. From management to staff you’ll find kind and helpful people that make this stay even more beautiful. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, the service is great. We enjoyed the food from breakfast to dinner and really appreciate the options of traditional and authentic Sri Lankan dishes on the menu.

Great property steps away from the shore. We got the best room with amazing ocean views. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. The room was clean and cozy.

It’s my third time in Sri Lanka. And I wanna say that it’s a very good place to stay. Room was clean, AC works well. Location is close to cafes and stores. Delicious breakfast for affordable price. Owners were so lovely and sweet. I would like to come back next time.

We enjoyed a lot this place. Booked 3 nights there but decided to stay for 2 more. Wonderful place with very beautiful and clean seashore just several meters from the hotel. Waves are high at that time of the year. We liked that it was a couple of km from Hikkaduwa, away from crowds of people, a place to relax and to have a quiet stay. At the same time there was a shop 2 minutes walk and a place to eat, and the Turtle beach, where there were no waves and it's possible to swim, was at 20 minutes walk (many people there). Room was tidy with beautiful and was cleaned every day! Swimming pool was also very clean. Staff is very hospitable and attentive to the needs, always was eager to help and answer lots of questions:) Tasty breakfast. There was an access to drinking water 24/7

This property is an oasis! A tropical paradise away from the hustle & bustle of the main road. We stayed in the chalet which looks out on to one of the 2 lovely pools. The sun comes up in the morning & shines straight on to the veranda. Beautiful plants, with birds, chipmunks, little lizards & butterflies all around. The room is perfectly equipped, with a comfy bed, small fridge, kettle, en suite. Mosquito nets (not that we needed them) air con, fan & wardrobe. Good WiFi too. All of the staff are wonderful. Very helpful & friendly. They even have a local guide / taxi man on hand for all your transport needs. Ask for Chalanga for your airport transfers, trips or scooter hire. All the staff are very knowledgeable. Breakfast was a real treat. We wanted Sri Lankan dishes, hoppers, daal, sambol & fresh fruit. They laid on a real spread. Fresh juices, beers & hot drinks are available all day too. I think you can get other meals there as well, but we only had breakfast. We highly recommend Arcadia & we were sad to leave! Thank you to everyone who looked after us ❤️

Perfect location right on the beach, 20 mins to Galle fort. Indika and his family are great hosts including a very smart 2yr old! So polite & helpful throughout our stay. Foods great ate here a few times and couldn’t fault it. Large basic room, clean.
