Super nice hostel! The rooms was fresh (AC and fan work well) and the bathroom was clean. The common areas and the pool were super convenient in the heat, and the breakfast was great.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Carlos and the team at Casona Origen Merida are top tier. We were provided with a list of recommendations for things to do in and around Merida before our arrival. The staff were readily available and the brekky is delish. Carlos also went above and beyond helping me with a DHL delivery for things I forgot at accommodation in another city. Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would stay again. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. There are two lush pools and the greenery in the garden make it really peaceful 10/10

One of the best boutique hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely looked after. The team (Leo and Agustin m) here goes above and beyond in a way that feels effortless and sincere. They gave me amazing local recommendations, checked in on me throughout my stay, and somehow always knew what I needed before I even asked.
The atmosphere is beautiful, calm and intimate — exactly what a boutique hotel should feel like. But what truly makes this place special is the hosts. Their attention to detail and the way they care for guests is on another level.
I left feeling not just rested, but truly taken care of. I would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
