Just a lovely little spot hidden away. Grounds were gorgeous even better in person. The reception (Alejandro and Kitchen staff went above and beyond!) So kind, and super informative. Always there to help you. Rooms were perfect, beds very comfortable and linens were great! It had a very old world charm, which we love and if we ever visit beautiful historic Merida again, we would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

This was one of the best hostels I stayed in along my travels.
The staff were lovely, and they have lots of activities that you can join in with.
The rooms themselves were also great - you have a separate pod/cubicle in a large warehouse area for some privacy, and good shower areas.
It was only 10 minute walk away from the centre which meant it was quiet!

The villa is absolutely stunning! It should rather be called a palace. A beautiful building with high ceilings and colorful ceramic floors. As soon as you enter, you feel the serenety and calmness of this place. It felt like being in a fairytale. We ended up spending a lot of time at the villa instead of sightseeing because it is such a special place!
The pictures online look beautiful but in real life it looks even better.
Host Batiste was very welcoming and provided us with lots of useful tips about things to do in Merida. The staff of this place is excellent. Extremely nice and they keep the place meticulously clean.
We are hoping to come back to this magical place!

Back to La Piazzetta for the second time and it was the best decision during our roadtrip in the Yucatan Peninsula! I remembered Piazzetta being a family-owned hotel in a beautiful setting with traditional rooms, lovely views and welcoming people! Our stay exceeded my expectations! We were welcomed by Leo (the owner) and it immediately felt we came back to visit old friends! Leo helped us and gave us recommendations of what not to be missed that same evening and the day after, restaurant options and must-do's! The room was big enough for four people (we were with three) and it had all the needed amenities! Perfectly clean and comfortable. We highly appreciated the coffee/juice/brioche mini breakfast offered the morning after, the help with carrying the luggage and the attention to details. We were quite sad we only booked for 1 night but it's definitely a place I would be returning in the future! Still lots to see in the area and such a beautiful welcoming place does make the whole experience much much better!
