If this is a 2-star hotel then 5-star hotels in Maputo must be mindblowing. Here's what I liked: - Daily cleaning with complimentary water every day - The room has AC, hot water, and a smart TV (I never used it) - The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a situation where I was being severely overcharged in the city. I called the hotel and they called someone nearby to come sort the bill - that was very thoughtful. - The location is near banks and some restaurants.

When I exchanged SouthAfrica Rand at airport, I gave her R3000 but I only got R2000. I told this event to Hotel manager, he was very helpful for me. Finally he went to the exchange company to get R1000 back. He is a very reliable man. The security is better than the city center. Many restaurant and supermarket is close to the hotel.

Great and extremely friendly and welcoming host, amazing breakfast, nice pool in the backyard, very good recommendations for restaurants etc. Almost being a part of the family. Was supplied with water,milk, cookies and fruit during my 2 nights there. Central Maputo, ATM, Restaurants, views of the Bay is all in walking distance in a safe area. Not as private as a hotel, but not like a backpackers. More like a good mixture between private rooms and easy possibilities around the pool for breakfast to meet others.

The owners are so kind. This is a very calm and clean place to relax. Also the best place to eat in the area. Highly recommend.

I am very satisfied with the hotel's location—it is just a few steps away from the Portuguese, French, and American schools, close to the Private hospital, and has an incredible view to the golf course in Maputo. In addition, the Kichnet's is full equiped , clean , security and privacy it is a new building, exceeded my expectations.

Everything. Service was perfect, professional, but also super friendly. They do not hesitate to help you with any requests you may have. Great breakfast with creativity in the dishes. We went there for a work-related trip, so we made many different bookings from Aug 18th to Aug 30th, 2024! The staff was awesome in helping as with ALL needed arrangements, the hotel also has transportation services to/from hotel/airport, so that's very convenient. Breakfast is nice and cleaning services as well. It is located in a good area right in front of a shopping mall (where you can exchange money) and is surrounded by restaurants and cafés. At least for work/business trips this is an excellent option for your stay!
