When I exchanged SouthAfrica Rand at airport, I gave her R3000 but I only got R2000. I told this event to Hotel manager, he was very helpful for me. Finally he went to the exchange company to get R1000 back. He is a very reliable man. The security is better than the city center. Many restaurant and supermarket is close to the hotel.

I am very satisfied with the hotel's location—it is just a few steps away from the Portuguese, French, and American schools, close to the Private hospital, and has an incredible view to the golf course in Maputo. The lovely people of Sundown went out of their way to help and accommodate me after I realized that I did not want to spend a second night in the Green Stay House Hotel in Maputo. Within the hour Mr. Bernardo came to pick me up from there and I arrived to a beautiful room with all the amenities, with breakfast on the patio and a relaxing atmosphere. We went there for a work-related trip, so we made many different bookings from Aug 18th to Aug 30th, 2024! The staff was awesome in helping as with ALL needed arrangements, the hotel also has transportation services to/from hotel/airport, so that's very convenient. Breakfast is nice and cleaning services as well. It is located in a good area right in front of a shopping mall (where you can exchange money) and is surrounded by restaurants and cafés. At least for work/business trips this is an excellent option for your stay!
