The hotel is very close to the train station and also the central market. The staff was kind and the room was very clean. I saw other travellers complaining the room was small, but I found mine to be a standart size. The double bed was very big and comfortable. The hotel is also a walkable distance from Intercape bus office, so perfect for travellers who continue their journey by bus. Breakfast was tasty and I felt completely safe inside the hotel.

Malagueta is a beautiful place with nice decor and a great area to rest by the little pool. Its in a really nice area of Maputo, e.g. in walking distance to the Faime Market. There's even a little communal kitchen. Everything is very clean and neat. Miguel is a wonderful host who will help you with anything you might need. Will definitely stay here again if we ever need a place in Maputo!
