Malagueta is a beautiful place with nice decor and a great area to rest by the little pool. Its in a really nice area of Maputo, e.g. in walking distance to the Faime Market. There's even a little communal kitchen. Everything is very clean and neat. Miguel is a wonderful host who will help you with anything you might need. Will definitely stay here again if we ever need a place in Maputo!

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Quimera. While I was only staying one night, I felt right at home straight away thanks to the beautiful welcome from Imelda. In December 2024 I stayed there for 4 nights and in January for one night before the flight. The Guesthouse Team were very friendly and helpful, I felt very welcome. The Guesthouse is centrally located for exploring the city and in a quiet area. The rooms were both great, very good wifi, even with a fridge and kettle so you could make tea and coffee. The shower had warm water and there was a bottle of water every day. In addition to the delicious breakfast, there was also a small common area with a kitchen. I would come back, clear recommendation***
