Beautiful harbour room with self contained shower. Haka House was an excellent mum with student (daughter) accommodation option - especially close to town and cuba street. It's clean and love having a fridge in the room. The beds were very comfy

I was attending a conference at the Museum about a 5 minute walk away so the hotel filled my needs. It is in the city centre and there's a bus stop from the airport very close by. It was disconcerting though that the police were dealing with an aggressive homeless lady just when I got off the bus. I asked for a quiet room with a view. There was some noise of doors closing but the view from the 5th was hardly inspiring (see photo)! It didn't help that it was cold and rainy while I was in Wellington! The décor was mostly black and dark beige - all a bit depressing. And there was no breakfast served in the hotel, only drinks available in the lobby. There are plenty of eateries nearby.

The location was perfect for us. Proximity to Courtney Place was good. The staff at the reception desk were awesome and we were able to get everything we needed from them.

Apartment had everything you need.The location was excellent and handy to everything and nice walk to harbour/wharf and getting to see the dolphins put on amazing display. Very little noise being in city centre. Also having own car park in secure garage was fantastic would stay again.
