We stayed three nights in January. The Peabody certainly lives up to its billing as ‘the Grand Hotel of the South’ with a luxurious lobby and regal hotel rooms. The service is extraordinary. Honestly, the staff are always smiling and can’t do enough. Each evening they actually knock at your door offering you chocolates, extra toiletries and extra bottled water (all with a duck motif, of course). The duck parade at 11am and 5pm is a must. Don’t wait until the last minute if you want a prime viewing spot though as it crowds up fast. Our room was spacious and the bed was VERY comfy. We especially appreciated the built-in individual reading lights. The hotel offers free coffee and tea downstairs each morning. The location is great, 2 blocks from Beale and across the street from the ballpark. I can’t imagine going to Memphis and staying anywhere else

Location was perfect, walkable to Beale Street, Civil Rights museum, Riverside Park, and more. On site parking easy to use. Bed was very comfy and the whole place was super clean. Excellent communication from the hosts prior to/during our stay. The list of recommended places to eat and pick up essentials was helpful. We may have been there at a quieter time - hosts provide ear plugs and sleep mask, but we didn't need to use them.

Ideally set in the center of Memphis, La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis Downtown has free WiFi throughout the property, a fitness center and free private parking for guests who drive.

Everything. The room was lovely, the lighting under bed that came on at night to help you navigate was a super idea. The bathroom with separate water closet and giant shower were fabulous. Loved the resort style pool too. The restaurant was outstanding on main level and rooftop bar was special. Great location.

The Rambler is an apartment featuring rooms with free Wifi and air conditioning in the center of Memphis. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.
