Close to two subway stations plus lots of places to eat and shop, microwave and fridge in room, very clean, free breakfast, staff was friendly and left you alone if you want, quiet. Manhattan was an easy 20 mins away.

We arrived at the JFK airport and it was pretty easy to get there by Airtrain and Metro, the hotel is located 4 squares away from the F line so it's a very short walking distance even with luggage. Upon our arrival, Sofia was very kind and made everything possible in her hands to make our stay comfortable and check-in easy, she's the best!! The breakfast was a lifesaver and the staff was always aware of our needs. The room was very spacious, the beds were super comfortable (ideal to rest after a really busy day with MANY tourist activities) and it was ALWAYS clean!!

My review is focused on budget friendly hotel experience. Everything was nice. Allowed us early checkin. Location was perfect next to subway station. Decent breakfast. Freshly made eggs, potatoes and bacon compared to packaged food provided in other places. Room was well maintained. Had a good roof top view.

It was in a quiet neighborhood and the facility was extremely clean. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I loved the fact that the hotel was so close to the subway making it easy for us to get to Manhattan and back.

Ideally located in the middle of Queens, Hyatt Place Long Island City offers free WiFi and a fitness center.

We randomly chose that hotel for our family trip to NYC and it ended up being the best choice we made. The proximity to the subway was great, about 5-10 minutes walk and we were literally 5 stops away from Times Square. And we have a reserved parking spot on top of it. Definitely going to keep this hotel for my next trips to NYC.
