This San Francisco hotel is located just 2 blocks from Union Square and 5 blocks from the Powell Street BART Station. Room is standard room with fridge , safe deposit box, TV and office table .If you need microwave it's located in lobby . Hotel has perfect location , close to everything. Half block from cable car lane. Every morning hotel serve good hot breakfast. MOST IMPORTANT: very nice and helpful staff. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This towering historic landmark on Nob Hill features a top-floor restaurant with beautiful views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Cable car stops are just outside the hotel. The view was amazing we could see the Golden Gate Bridge from our room and it was spectacular the sun set view was so beautiful

Located in the famous Nob Hill District of San Francisco, this centrally located 1907 hotel is within 20 minutes' walk to major attractions such as Union square, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown and... The room was large, comfortable, the bed was nice. The fridge and microwave in the room were lifesavers. We had a ton of closet space as well. It was more than enough for two people. The area was also very nice, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and diagonal to a large supermarket. There were bus stops nearby as well. The people at the front desk were super nice, helped us with our bags, even let me use the shower after check out. The bathroom was shared, however we never had to wait to use it. All around a lovely experience for my first visit to San Francisco.

The club gives you the feel of the times, early 1900’s. We had the billiards room to ourselves and the balcony over-looking the SF Financial District. Powell Place provides rooms in San Francisco near Coit Tower and Moscone Center. The Powell Place is the most tidy and complete apartment we have ever stayed in. Spotless everywhere you look. Kitchen amenities have all required for advanced home cooking. Even small things are well thought of (spare garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, coffee and paper filter, tissues, salt& pepper etc. Staff is extremely friendly, competent and helpful. Awesome positive experience!
