Excellent does not begin to describe our experience with Resu. We have stayed in hundreds of places and few will be as memorable as this. The mountain location, the comfort and space, the breakfast should you choose to order it (please do it...at least once), the constant generosity of little extras that were provided... especially food and wine, the beds, the little touches... nothing is left to chance. Resu, and her daughter who helped, clearly love what they do. This is how it used to be before corporatisation spoiled the booking websites and earning a buck became more important than extending hospitality. If you are anywhere near Bilbao and have transportation then stay here... you won't regret it. We will return!

exhausted after travel to arrive we accessed this cool, comfortable apartment. Just like the pictures and so clean. Would stay again. It is a walk to town, but a lovely one Just off the bus stop from Bilbao. A significant walk from the train. Didn't have a chance to see if the kitchen is outfitted...this is the land of tapas/cafe culture so we were out for all meals/drinks.

This may have been the cleanest place I’ve ever been. Host was great. It is out of town and I am walking the Camino - but there is everything you need to make a simple dinner. And you can avoid the business of the city. Highly recommend!

Nice decoration, comfortable beds, huge kitchen. There were bottle water, fruits, coffee and tea available.

I could not get enough of this place! Senor Fernando and his wife were just amazingly kind. Their artistic sense and attention to detail was seen throughout the building. We had a dinner prepared by Senor Fernando and all of the dishes was so delicious. He used many ingredients that were grown locally. Remotely located yet convenient (20 mins to Bilbao). Quiet and perfect for relaxing and detoxing!

Everything !!! It’s a fantastic place , ideal for relaxing and touring around the fantastic areas nearby. the staff is also amazing .
