This was one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff is incredibly nice and speak great English. The courtyard and lounge are so pretty. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

We spent a few wonderful days at this property just outside Chinon, in a quiet, serene neighborhood surrounded by vineyards. The large garden is beautiful, with fruit trees, a swimming pool, and hammocks perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was served in the gazebo, and we enjoyed Marielle’s delicious homemade jams and other treats each morning. Our bungalow was spotless and tastefully decorated, with a lovely outdoor seating area where we could sit in the mornings and evenings, listening to the birds and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Marielle and her husband are wonderful hosts, warm, social, and full of great recommendations for places to eat and explore in the area. We would definitely love to return.

Our host was very kind and recommended a great village & chateau (Langeais) for us to visit. Breakfast (especially the homemade jam) was terrific. Charlie (the resident dog) was adorable!

Hotel was easy to find and to park. We were four adults in a family room, which is on the top floor and has an amazing view and a loft with two twin beds. Owner/manager was very welcoming and helpful with excellent English. I really enjoyed having wine and cheese and various snacks on our deck and dinner on site in their restaurant. If you’re traveling with a car, this is a great place to stay to see a lot of the best places in the Loire Valley. Nice and quiet location. The on-site restaurant seemed quite popular and the food was really quite good and reasonably priced.
