Centrally located in Castletown on the Isle of Man. Rooms above Pub/restaurant but was quiet and comfortable. Rooms and bathroom large and clean. Coffee/ teas/ bottle water provided in room. Just steps from bus stop and 10 min walk to steam train station which takes you to the southern tip of the island or north to Douglas and definitely a must do.

The breakfast selections are excellent. We dined in for dinner a few times, excellent as well. Pete, Marianne, Lucas are as accommodating as possible. The best lodging in Douglas for sure.

Lovely staff, everyone helpful, nice touch dog beds and dogs treats and a toy and poo bags, very thoughtful. Nice breakfast and evening meal on 1st night.

We had a fantastic stay! Arjun is an absolute gem—he went above and beyond to assist us, from recommending great restaurants to managing our late check-out request. The room was spacious and equipped with all the essential amenities we needed. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just a short walk from the ferry station. Overall, a solid 10/10 for the staff and their flexibility in understanding and accommodating guests’ needs. Highly recommended!

Lovely breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for staff. Very clean restaurant.

The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station.
