Fantastic property, very close to town, the design of everything is terrific. I mixed up my dates of staying there, arriving a day early, and Matteo arranged for me to stay at another exceptional property for a night before coming to La Fornace the next night. If I am in the area again I would stay here and explore Alessandria more fully. A wonderful gracious host.

Great place, great admosphere and very spacy appartment. Some nice touches on the design. Good beds and fans for every room. It was very clean on arrival, the host was very flexible, a great help and very communicative. And ablove a great ice-cream shop (but that is my personal addiction...).

The owner was very welcoming and attentive. The house is as expected, i.e. historic but old fashioned. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner is limited but the meal was very well prepared and filling.

Very nice apt but taxi ride required. Bus if you’re lucky. All the locks are necessary but a burden.

This was a great overnight stay traveling from France to Tuscany. Newly renovated 6 room guesthouse that was SUPER clean and shiny. Hostess was great with communication as we arrived late but had no problem accessing room. Room 3 had a king size bed, hot, clean shower, coffee maker and hot pot for tea. There was a common room for toys for kids. We had a small balcony with a nice sunset view. Price:value ratio was awesome.
