Cascina Tumas exceeded our expectations. Our apartment had a beautiful view over the lake and the town of Orta St Guilia, so we were able to sit on the balcony in the morning and evening enjoying the view. The property has an area for residents to sunbathe and swim on the lake front which was lovely, and they also had a kayak and stand up paddle which we rented for a few hours to explore the lake. The lake was warm for swimming and having it right outside our room was bonus. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including air conditioning if required as it was quite hot (end of July). Carolina and her niece Francesca were very helpful and friendly hosts. The town of Pettanasco has a number of restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. There is also a parking for residents use near to the property. We had a car so we were able to visit nearby places such as the mountains and other lakes. You can take a water taxi to Orta St Guilia not far from the property. We would certainly recommend Cascina Tumas.

Everything was fine. We relaxt here for 2 days. We came with a Camper - it was difficult to drive there because of the small streets. Very nice garden with a fantastic view.

The location, right on the lake, was absolutely beautiful to wake up to each morning, and so relaxing as we could swim in the lake from the lovely garden and eat outside every morning/evening. Our host Susanna and her family were so welcoming and lovely to talk to, with some wonderful recommendations for food and sightseeing in the local area. The house was equipped with everything we needed - great to have air conditioning, a washing machine and iron. I miss it even months after we are back at home. Thank you Susanna!

This was the best glamping vacation ever. Royal camping is extraordinary clean with lots of beautiful flowers and trees for shadow and a very nice and clean pool. There is also a big playground for children with a fenced sandbox. The staff is very friendly, everything is well organised and pets are welcome. The camping is located on the hill with a view over lake Orta from some spots. There are lots of long-term tenants and it was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Loved it! Lots of beautifull spots to explore around the lake. The water is so clear and there weren't lots of foreign tourists. A perfect getaway in northern Italy.

The place was beautiful. It has an awesome outdoor breakfast area under the tree. The breakfast was good, we had chocolate croissants most days with a coffee. The staff were super friendly and helpful especially with telling us where to get the bus from. Their english was good and nothing seemed to bother them. Roberto was super friendly and nice, even gave us shots of his home brew. The accommodation was a large bedroom with small kitchen facilities including a stove top and fridge. The bed was comfortable. There was no air-con (that we could see) but they gave us a fan which was fine. The room didn't get that hot to be honest so it wasn't an issue. We were a bit concerned when we saw earplugs laid out on our bedside table that it might get noisy, but it didn't at all, so maybe thats just a nice touch. The bathroom was big, and the shower pressure was excellent. The location was great, on the main road, (not that it's busy), close to the supermarket and lake.
