I enjoyed staying at Tenuta Selvaggia, the house is surrounded by nature, the view of the surroundings is stunning. The house itself is very beautiful, a pleasure to stay inside or outside. Cristiana and her mother are very kind and welcoming, I felt very well during the stay. They were very helpful, accommodating, and communicative. I loved the home cooked meals. The pool area is great. Horseback riding is something that I'll definitely try next time I stop there.

I am biased as I love this part of Tuscany - I prefer it to Chianti. I have spent a lot of time between Reggello and Arezzo over the years and La Capraia is WONDERFUL. The setting of approx 700m makes it much cooler than the valley and yet you can easily do day trips into Florence if you wish. Given the very hot days at the moment, the pool was superb and the shaded areas outside very welcome. The family that own it could not have been more helpful in EVERY respect. We are coeliacs and they catered for us at dinner with no issue at all. The price for the rooms and facilities I think are very fair. We met friends there and the owners accommodated all our wishes around sleeping arrangements! There are cats! We loved the fact that produce is grown locally on their farm, a lot of "0 km" food, wine was organic etc.

We had an excellent stay at La Casuccia. Such a nice place and very friendly family, who served lovely Italian food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool area was such a chilled space to relax and great for the kids as well. And the views from the rooms and terrace is spectacular. It is highly recommendable!

the place is amazing- an old palace with its own history, not touristic disneyland, but full of truth. if you can appreciate places with soul, I do recommend. No elevator, but steep old stars, No air conditioning but thick walls and fans, old wooden ceilings, very cosy tuscan rooms. Poor internet, but beautiful views to admire. and friendly people willing to help. not crowded huge garden, space for everybody around the pool. a lot of quiet space.

After a cancelled flight leading to cancellation of original booking, then delay to rebooked flight, Francesco and his daughter met us at 1.30am at the property to let us in and show us around (having driven down from Florence). They were so lovely, so helpful with local information, and some bottled water and cake provided! The house is set in a beautiful rural setting, with views to die for over local hills. There is a lovely big, sunny, private garden with seating. The bedrooms are big and bed very comfortable. The shutters make for very dark rooms, so we enjoyed a week of long, deep sleep. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for self catering. The bathroom is new and the shower is great. Soap and body wash are provided. There is a washing machine with detergents under the outside stairs which is great - can put on at night without hearing it from the house. The house is a 10 min drive to Figline Valdarno which has loads of lovely local cafes/restaurants, a big Coop and Lidl, and 20 mins on fast train to Florence (free parking at the station). Francesco and his daughter were so helpful all week, providing ideas for local trips and always available on whatsapp. I cant recommend this property highly enough, and we will definitely stay next time we are in the area.
