🌿 A Hidden Gem Near Kandy Historic City – Perfect for Families and Solo Travelers Alike! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel during our vacation, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, genuine, and seamless. The manager (Mr. Kamal) works tirelessly to create a welcoming and memorable experience, and it shows in every detail. The accommodation was immaculate—comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. The property itself is spacious and serene, surrounded by fruit trees and filled with the sounds of nature and the mountains. Waking up to birds chirping and spotting birds in the trees added a magical touch to our mornings. The culinary experience was a highlight. The Sri Lankan breakfast was bursting with authentic flavors, and the Western dishes were equally delicious. Service throughout was outstanding—friendly staff, prompt attention, and a sincere commitment to making guests feel at home. The well-maintained swimming pool was perfect for our four little children to play in and unwind after a day of exploring. Located just proximity to Kandy Historical City. This place is ideally situated for adventure and relaxation. It’s very reasonably priced and offers incredible value for the quality of experience. We only wish we had stayed a few more days! Whether you're traveling solo or with family, this place is a true gem. We will definitely return on our next trip to Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

The best thing about this place is the lovely couple that runs it! They are so kind and delightful. You’ll feel very well taken care of. The hotel is beautiful, set up on a hill, with an amazing view of Kandy!

It’s been a fantastic experience staying at Muduna Walawwa Resort! We received a warm welcome. The place is absolutely fantastic, I adored fascinating authentic wooden interior design! With a cute White Tiger toy on the wooden bench next to our room. Nice wooden bed with comfortable matress and pillows (the best pillows so far in Sri Lanka). Super clean! A clean bathroom, towels, AC and heated water, great shower, And you feel like home! They even have a box of toys for kids! The manager Surein was suuuper friendly and helpful, arranged for us the best deal city tour! All staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast was delicious! I should mention that the experience exceeded my expectations and made my family very happy! Overall I’m extremely pleased with both the service and the resort, and would gladly recommend it!
