Can you post on booking.com? I have posted on the accomodation’s website: Our family of 3 had a magical stay at Royal Reach Family Resort in Udawalawa. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and attentiveness by the staff, especially Nihara, the front desk receptionist and Thushara, the duty manager. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, whether it was arranging early check-in for our tired child or recommending hidden gems in the nearby national park. The resort itself was a dream come true. Our spacious room had stunning views of nature, while my son was enthralled by the cool pool. We devoured delicious Sri Lankan and international cuisine at the open-air restaurant, and even joined a guided safari led by local experts, leaving us awestruck by the incredible wildlife of Udawalawa. Royal Reach exceeded our expectations in every way. It wasn't just a resort; it was an experience that created lasting memories for our family. We can't wait to return for another taste of Sri Lankan paradise!

Vimanra hotel is by far one of the most beautiful places you can find in udawalawe. Its a small family-run hotel located in a lush and green forest, next to a lake. It was amazing to wake up to the sound of birds and taking a dip in the (very clean) swimming pool. The garden is full of plants and fruit trees such as mangos, papayas and pineapple. There's even a small lake filled with fish. The owners are very very kind and helpful. They booked a safari for us and even made us a very, very good dinner on the day that all shops and restaurants were closed. You'll feel immediately at home and at peace in this place. The family room is huge and the bathroom is very big! Shower and toilet are separated which is very convenient for a group of 3 or 4. If you've been in busy Kandy or galle, then this is the perfect place to calm down and enjoy the beautiful lush nature of Sri Lanka . And not to forget: the beds were very comfy and the rooms have airconditioning

Lovely family owned small hotel. The owner & his family are really welcoming. The organized a safari for us and we had a delicious rice an curry for dinner (best we had so far in Sri Lanka!). After the morning safari we could do a late check out and even have some fresh breakfast. All was super clean & everyone was so friendly. Sadly we could stay only 1 night. Highly recommended if you want to visit Udawalawe!

we liked everything about this property. The hotel is run by a really nice family. They contacted us to prepare everything before our stay: call a taxi to go, prepare dinner and arrange the safari. Our room was clean, spacious and totally worth it. The food was simply amazing. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch there where we could taste the best local food we had in Sri Lanka. Also, our stay in Sandalwood was during Sri Lankan new year. They prepared for us the typical breakfast and lunch for that day and we could meet the family. It was an incredible experience because all of them were really nice and we felt like home. Finally, they could find us a taxi to go to our next stop (what was not easy because it was public holiday and there were almost no taxis).

This really is a home away from home in the beautiful Sri Lankan jungle. Prabath and his family are so incredibly welcoming and generous they really look after you and make sure you have everything you need. Prabath's wife's Sri Lankan cooking is SO delicious and very generous portions. Prabathh was a truly lovely host and has become an amazing friend. He took us to nearby places in the village like the local river to swim in and a wonderful restaurant called Garlic Cafe run by his friend (we really recommend eating lunch here!!) The property is so incredible with most of the buildings handbuilt by Prabath with hammocks and a pool to cool off in. We can't thank Prabath and his family for our stay they made it so memorable and overwhelmed us with their hospitality. We will definitely be back!!

A wonderful stay. Only the sound of the river in the surroundings. The staff were very kind and gave us the best safari experience. The owner of the hotel, Asanka, organized the safari very well. Room peaceful and comfortable beds. Delicious food. I recommend this stay at 100%. thank you so much.
