The house is decorated(with many original antique furniture) and is amazing, and outside the vineyard is extremely beautiful and picturesque. It is nice to explore the property and the house with its many rooms. The room is very nice and clean and there is a kitchen downstairs if you need anything. The staff are very kind and helpful.

The most memorable and enjoyable week in Portugal! Casa do Vale de Cerdeiras offers a beautiful panoramic view from a villa with elegant style and all the modern conveniences, in the midst of historic villages and the famous Duoro River Valley, with many local cultural experiences and nearby vineyards for wine tasting and tours. An ancient Roman road lies just beyond the property gate for a rare hiking adventure! We are three couples from Canada who had the unique pleasure of enjoying this gorgeous villa and the ministrations of it’s most gracious host and hostess. Recommendations were offered on request, a traditional dinner was hosted at the villa (special thanks to Paula and Fernanda), two authentic local culinary experiences (Tasquina do Fumo; Casa do Lavrador), a cruise on the Duoro River, and a tour of the beautifully restored Mosteiro de Santo Andre de Ancede were all arranged by our host. We also visited Regua and Quinta da Pacheca for a wine tasting tour and lovely lunch. We all agree this was the most helpful and accommodating a host could be, while still respecting our privacy. It is clear Victor wants his guests to have the best experience possible in the home and land he undoubtedly loves.

We cannot recommend Casa Catita enough, from the expectional hosts, who went above and beyond, especially poor Vitor who waited for 2 hours for us in the airport, due to lost luggage 🙈 to the most beautiful home and a view that will stay in my mind forever. The pool was a great size and we all really enjoyed the games room and our 5 year loved the large playroom with so many toys to keep him entertained. Great memories were made, and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend going down to the river, its breathtaking. Thank you so much Vitor and Luisa for sharing your home with us xxx

Breakfast was great and the property is really nice. We were doing the Cinfães half-marathon and the staff were available to prepare breakfast early in the morning and allowed us to shower after the race.

An exceptional home to stay while visiting the Douro Valley. Right from the beginning, our host made us feel welcome and at home. We were offered local wine, fresh peaches from the garden, cake and treats! The home was clean and comfortable for our party of 5. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms generously sized. We immensely enjoyed our evenings while seating on the terrace overlooking the valley and sipping the local wines. What an ideal way to spend a vacation!

The place is a quiet retreat in the valley with the ease to access nearby wineries and restaurants. Slept with the windows open and had no noise or issue. The place itself is quite large and well decorated. The view is stunning from the patio and perfect for breakfast, dinner, and digestives. Grocery store 10 mins away by car and four minutes to dining options. Hosts were super communicative and welcoming. Could ask them anything. Would stay again!
