Free shuttle from & to Hualien Station(advance reservation necessary). Hotel is very wide (lobby to guestrooms, free shuttle available) and with variety of facillities (some cost extra charge), personally times would be a little bit tight for only one night stay even if before check-in & after check-out facilities are still available for use. Rooms are all with balcony (garden & river view), very wide, with everything more than enough. Poolside is fantastic in both day & night time, lifeguards are there who are all polite and friendly. Still, there are pools with warm water (around 40 degrees), not any problems in winter season. Canal's cruising boat takes guests to see through the hotel (go around), boatmans (some are female) would like to give guests a guide patiently through the whole cruise. And also, around 22:00, they run the final boat (not allowed on board) with music speaker, saying good night to everybody. Restaurant is small a bit considering they have such huge amount of guestrooms, it results in that dinner time being seperated into two parts...might be a little bit shameful as they offered many kinds of cuisines, hopefully longer time for dinner would be suggested. But even if we did it over time, staff in the restaurant were all nice and did not push us in a hurry at all. Breakfast time until 12:00 which is quite an excellent service as guests are able to spend the leisure time until around 11:00 (final check-out time), then go for breakfast after check-out. We planned to do this originally but could hardly hire a shuttle to lobby for doing check-out first (around 11:00 is a rush hour for check-out, cars are not enough at all) . However they let us to keep our luggages and room key, go enjoy our late morning time first, back at around 12:15, then they offered a shuttle, gave us a ride to lobby for check-out. Well they do have flexibilities no matter how their policy defines, unfoegettable customer services.

Amazing view of mountains, great garden, clean room and helpful staff. It's a plus to choose outdoor balcony to enjoy breakfast surrounded by mother nature. Please spend some time in the big garden.

This is the best accommodation I have ever been to. really nice room with a healthy and delicious homemade breakfast. Really enjoy the time there. The price totally worth it. Though it’s a B&B but it’s definitely at hotel level.

A beautiful property. Excellent communication from the owner. I messaged him a couple days before with questions about transportation and fishing options. The house keeper picked us up from the train and brought a lot of bread for us to use as bait! The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. If you plan on using the scooter please message ahead of time so that they can charge it. I assumed it was gas and so we didn’t get far on it on the first night. You really should have a car if you stay here- you’ll will be able to go to the night market on Wednesday nights and nicer restaurants if you do. Like others said, make sure to cover all of your body if you go out on the property, there are millions of tiny mosquitos. I was covered up but my hands got feasted on (you don’t feel it when they bite you). We liked our stay otherwise, it was very relaxing, and we had a blast fishing! There are some really big boys out there!

Room. bathroom and the rest of the property were clean. Proprietor was very kind and helpful; I had a problem with the laundry machine, and he helped resolve it. Laundry is convenient and affordable. Great breakfast. Strong wifi. If you ask, you can leave your luggage after check-out and come back to pick it up later that day. Location is in a quiet residential alley off of a larger road, which is convenient. There is a (free) water machine with both hot and cold water in the public sitting area outside the office. Has a good amount of free, on-property parking. Great location for road tripping along the coast.

Breakfast is fine, enough variety, good quality. Room is spacious. Free bike rental is very useful for that area. Friendly and nice communication prior to travel day.
