This is a great location, not too far off the beaten path and a great drop off location for exploring. You can pay to use beaches near by and go for a drive to other villages. The meals were fantastic and really reasonably priced. Breakfast was included.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great my stay was at Aura Suites. I booked this hotel at the last minute because my previous hotel made me feel uncomfortable. I was able to book the morning of, at a great prices for the 1-bedroom suite I stayed in. The location was great given that I wanted to be closer to the ferry terminal due to my intentions to visit Zanzibar during my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant on the 16th floor had great food options, and the laundry service was clutch.

The location for us was close to the port as we had to board the ferry to Zanzibar and this was walking distance the staff was friendly and helpful they even facilitated our very late check in as we were travelling by road. We stayed two times here during our vacation. Close to ferry - 400 meters. Good price. Very comfortable beds. No issues with hot water - strong pressure and temperature. Excellent breakfast! Nice restaurant.
